Festival Hall became a 1940s canteen: “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” “Sing, Sing, Sing,” and a ten-piece band with the Arts Barn Dancers in full swing, then a second act that roamed the American songbook — with Hamilton’s King George sneaking “You’ll Be Back” past the color guard — before the “Battle Hymn of the Republic” brought everyone to their feet.
